Writer

Leah Newsom is a writer based in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Arizona State University, where she now teaches creative writing in the Department of English. Her work has previously appeared/is forthcoming in Conjunctions, Ninth Letter, Juked, Passages North, Daedalus, and more. Her writing has also been generously supported by the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing and the National Parks Arts Foundation.
